Problem
Statement

The home page of the TopJob Listings website is not easy for you to find better jobs/companies matching your profile because on the home page there are so many elements and so many colors are used, which is distracting to JOBSEEKERS. Now create a new Landing page design for effective easy job search, empowering job seekers to identify the best opportunities and apply.

Project Goal

  1. Develop a new home page design that should be user-friendly and interactive.
  2. Improve features that eliminate user frustrations.
  3. Integrate online company reviews for enhanced experience.

A research plan was formulated to determine the demographics of potential JOBSEEKER — their needs, expectations, and what drives their motivation; analyze the scope of the current job portal industry; assess competitor's market positioning and analyze their website functionalities/features; identify pain points of consumers and what difficulties they upload there resume or view other elements.

Pain Point
1. Providing too much information on the home page is just to create a user account
2. Complicated product filters (there are two types of auto-suggest appearing. 1. List View and 2. Tag View)
3. Unable to understand which one is best for me.

JOBSEEKER Needs
1. UI should be easy to use
2. Show related companies in featured jobs

Possible Solution:
1. Job recommendation based on the history of resume.
2. Search and filters should be easy to use.
